Adoption Process at Doodles Paws
Adopting your new family member with Doodles Paws is a simple and enjoyable process, and we’ll guide you every step of the way. To get started, please complete our Puppy Application form so we can better understand your preferences and help match you with the perfect puppy. After submission, you’ll receive an email with detailed instructions on how to bring your new puppy home.
Before submitting your application or reaching out to us, we kindly ask that you review our website. Please note that all puppies are sold as pets only; breeding rights are available for an additional fee.
Pricing & Payment Information

The cost of our puppies is $3200.00 for US residents.

Once your application is approved and you wish to reserve a puppy, a non-refundable (but transferable) deposit of $500.00 is required to secure your spot for your chosen litter.

California residents will be subject to California Sales Tax.

If you live outside the US, additional fees may apply for international paperwork, depending on your country's requirements.
Puppy Updates
We will provide updates on the puppies through pictures and videos at 3, 5, and 6 weeks of age, which will be shared via email or on our social media (Facebook/Instagram). It’s wonderful to watch your new family member grow!
Puppy Selection Process
At 5-6 weeks of age, the puppy selection process begins. You will choose your puppy based on the date of your deposit, and we will be there to guide you in selecting the best puppy for your family.
Please note that we do not allow visitors into our home for the puppy selection process—our priority is ensuring the health and safety of our puppies. If there is no available puppy from your selected litter, you may transfer it to another available litter.
Final Payment
Your final balance is due when your puppy turns 6 weeks old.
Pick-Up & Go-Home Dates
Puppies will go home between 8-9 weeks of age, with all puppies in the same litter going home on the same day. We will inform you of the exact go-home date so you can make arrangements. If you're unable to pick up your puppy on the scheduled day, we offer board and train options to prepare your puppy before they come home. Please note, we cannot hold puppies beyond the scheduled go-home date or change the go-home date.
Breeding Program
Doodles Paws reserves the right to withhold one or more puppies from each litter for our breeding program.
Locations & Shipping
We have homes in Sacramento, Auburn, and Los Angeles. For Sacramento residents, our nanny will meet you and deliver your puppy to you at no additional cost.
Our puppies have found loving homes around the world, or US residents, we provide a flight nanny who will accompany your puppy in-cabin and meet you at a nearby airport. For international families, we prefer that you fly to the US to pick up your puppy. However, we can arrange for a flight nanny to transport the puppy to you if necessary.
Safety Precaution
For the safety of our puppies, Doodles Paws does not allow on-site visits.
